Client acknowledges that the Law Firm has not and cannot guarantee any results for any matter in which it represents Client, as the provision of legal services is an obligation of means and not of results. Although no guarantee of outcome has been made, Monica Castillo Arjona-Law Office will diligently, with decorum and integrity represent the interests of Client and will endeavor to perform those services required by the facts of the case and as determined by applicable law, and the Lawyer’s Code of Ethics of Professional Responsibility.
2.2. PROCESSING FEES AND DEPOSIT
Mónica Castillo Arjona-Despacho Jurídico will establish its Fee Schedule in accordance with the provisions of the Professional Fee Schedule governing legal services in the Republic of Panama. In addition to the professional fees, most clients will be asked to pay a filing fee deposit – determined by the amount of anticipated costs in the case – which will be held in a specific account and applied to any necessary costs incurred on their behalf. Such costs include, but are not limited to, government and notary fees, service of process, courier services, translation, travel expenses if necessary, expenses required for the formalization and presentation of evidence before the competent Courts, etc.
2.3. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT TO THE FIRM
In addition to the timely payment of fees and processing costs, the Client’s obligations shall include the following:

Mónica Castillo Arjona- Despacho Jurídico may give lectures, trainings, or courses on topics related to its services, either at the Firm’s initiative as part of the Client Education Program, or at the request of the latter. In both cases, the responsibility of the Firm is only limited to developing the training activity on the established date and record the participation of each attendee, and the hours of the program.
2.5. SERVICE QUALITY ASSESSMENT
At the conclusion of your matter, Monica Castillo Arjona-Despacho Jurídico will ask you to share your experience with the law firm and complete an evaluation, which will help us make any improvements we need.
2.6. CUSTOMER’S STATEMENT:
By using our services, The Client represents and acknowledges that neither the Client, nor the principals, nor any collaborators, partners and/or members of the Client (i) are identified on any governmental list of prohibited or restricted parties, including, the List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons maintained by the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Panama, United Nations; or (ii) are owned or controlled by or act on behalf of a party on any such list.
Mónica Castillo Arjona-Despacho Jurídico reserves the right to revise and update its Terms and Conditions of the website and services.
